Dr Chen is a dentist anesthesiologist. He is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology,   a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.   Dr Chen is also an Assistant Professor in Medicine and Anesthesiology at USC, School of Dentistry. Due to the advanced hospital anesthesia training of Dr. Chen and his commitment to your overall health, his administration of sedation and anesthesia for dentistry has a superb record of safety. The sedative and anesthetic medications are typically administered intravenously (IV). Since the effects are smooth and rapid via this means of administration, Dr. Chen can precisely titrate and adjust the amounts of the medications to ensure you will be safely relaxed and comfortable.  Dr. Chen has been in private anesthesia practice for over 15 years.
